Co-Production is most effective when consumers have the tools needed to work collaboratively with health and community service organisations.

In this workshop, consumer advocates and community members can learn how to become effective and active participants in the initial stages of development of a project or program.

The workshop will provide you with activity sheets to help you raise ideas about how to make health services more accessible to consumers. This will help you return to health service teams and contribute to better health care for the community.

This workshop will cover:

  • Key Definitions

  • Benefits and Principles of Co-Production

  • Tools for Co-Production

  • Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Processes

We encourage consumers and board members to seek funding from their health service to cover the cost of this training.

I am an empowered member of the Committee. I feel that co-production is much easier now that I can articulate my creative ideas. I feel I have more input now that I understand and relate to the processes a lot more.
