Engaging group workshops for health professionals and consumers

One of the ways we deliver training and development at Health Issues Centre is by offering a variety of engaging and interactive workshops for staff and advocates in the health sector.

these are suitable for:

  • Health and community services staff wishing to work collaboratively with consumers and community members to improve the quality and safety of services they offer
  • Consumer advocates wishing to use their unique knowledge and experience to aid health and community services to improve quality and assist others to be active in their own care

What participants say

Fantastic, engaging, passionate presenter. Very informative and relevant to Alpine Health and our Community and Health Advisory Group. I appreciated the balance of lecture, facilitated discussion and activity.
Alpine Health Board member, Clinical Governance session
I learned that patient-centred care is essential to our practice. It may be difficult to achieve at first but through small steps and cooperation, it is possible.
